This is my last purchased item! A Life Application Study Bible! I am so excited to receive it and continue my journey in learning Christ! I already have a study Bible for new and single mommy's that I absolutely love, but I have heard such great things about this Bible, & I cannot wait to receive it and experience it firsthand!

Blog Challenge Day 11: 10 Pet Peeves

1. Waking me out of my sleep for no reason.
2. Trying to have a full conversation with me when I first wake up.
3. Lying to me.
4. Trying to tell me what to do.
5. When it takes you forever to say something.
6. Hinting something, but then saying never mind.
7. Trying to hard for attention.
8. Having an excuse for everything.
9. When someone acts like they know more about my life than I do.
10. & LASTLY, When people talk about me with my son, but refer to me as "Kesi" so then he spends hours calling me Kesi instead of mommy . -___-

Snow Day!

I got to spend the ENTIRE day with my love, my little boy, today! I am not a fan of the cold, but found that my son absolutely loves everything about the snow, so we spent hours outside playing. He was such a joy to watch, running all over the place, sledding, eating the snow, etc ! I recorded a few clips of him that I will try to put together and upload soon, but I of course have pictures to share tonight! I truly enjoy days when I have nothing else to do but hang out with my little man! He is so much fun! Well before I complete my blog challenge, here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasures. (:

Snowed In..

Y'all things got real in Georgia last night. I was one of the unlucky few that had to work (my entire shift) yesterday, and they wanted me to stay overnight to work todays shift because of all the call outs! There were more car accidents, abandoned cars, and people trapped in cars for hours than I have ever seen in my life! All because Georgia is so unprepared for this kind of weather! The sad thing is this happens almost every year and they promise every year that it happens that they will be more prepared the next time it happens & they aren't! So completely unprepared, while there are hungry children stuck on buses and things! I am venting because it would be different if it was unpreventable, but people up North deal with what we received and worse on a daily basis. It is preventable and it should be prevented! Fortunately, I was one of the lucky few that does not have to take the highway to get home from work, so I did get home safely. But, I prayed the whole way! That drive home was one of the slowest, scariest rides I have ever taken! 

                                                 Vent over. 

In other news, my son completely enjoyed his first snow! I am so sad that I didn't get to play in it with him yesterday, but best believe we will get some time in today! Pictures to come soon, but here are some of him from yesterday.

Oh, I love this little boy! Cannot wait to play with him out there soon! 

Ok, and I'm three day behind on my blog challenge. Ooops! I am going to do the past two days now (they will be short and sweet). Then later today I will do todays, deal! 

Blog Challenge Day 6: Hardest thing I have ever experienced

Mhmm.. this is a hard one. I would have to say my dog, Lala, dying. It was a real hard time for me, and she was my best friend. I just didn't understand why she had passed when she did, and I was so upset that I wasn't there for her. 

Blog Challenge Day 7: Dream job & Why 

Ok, I am still undecided about this! If I could be an elementary school teacher and get paid how I want to get paid; that might be it! I love children and that would make me so happy. But now being a nurse assistant, I would also love to do something where I could help a lot of people. And lastly, a job that would allow me to travel (all expenses paid!) and experience the world. So, just combine all three of those and there's my dream job! Hahaa.

Hey guys!! A fellow blogger and one of my best friends is doing a 30 day blog challenge to get her familiar with blogging, and I just thought that was a wonderful idea because I always start blogs and then forget about them. It's a shame because I really do love to write and want to document my life for my own pleasure and the pleasure of others!

4. I laugh all the time. When things are funny, when I feel awkward, when I am nervous, etc.
5. I have 2 sisters and a brother, and I love them dearly.
6. I care deeply for the people that are close to me.
7. I was born in New York, but moved when I was 5; I wish I grew up there.
8. Sushi addict.
9. I could live in leggings and a T-shirt.
10. I love to get my nails done.
11. My hair has been natural for about 2 years, but I straighten it all the time. I'm obsessed.
12. I will have my Bachelors degree by the end of summer.
13. I don't like the cold!
14. I work in healthcare.
15. LOVE to watch my son sleep.
16. Pescatarian (at least for 3 more months!)
17. I lack patience.
18. I like pretty teeth and a nice smile.
19. Still indecisive about what I want to do with my life.
20. I am a Christian woman. I love me some Jesus! Haha! I'm not perfect though, no where close; I'm still learning and growing!

Ok, that's me!
Today has been a cold day. I regret not grabbing my big coat before leaving the house this morning! I have been at school all day; I'm actually done with classes now but I am waiting for rush hour to pass so I can go home! Besides it being freezing, today has been great! I enjoy my classes, and during my break I ran some errands with a friend, we stopped to get some sushi (from my 20 random facts, you should now know I'm a sushi addict!), and then for dessert we got some frozen yogurt! I know, I know, I'm over here complaining about the cold, yet, I'm eating frozen yogurt! But let's be serious, who turns down frozen yogurt?!

Ok, that was fun.. Day 1 was a success! Can't wait to blog again tomorrow! Hope I make it through this challenge!
